The St. Clair County Master Plan was adopted by the Metropolitan Planning Commission and endorsed by the Board of Commissioners in the spring of 2000. The Master Plan advocates managed growth in order to preserve the rural character, unique features, and natural, cultural, and historic resources that make St. Clair County attractive. In 2000 the Michigan Society of Planning recognized the County’s Master Plan by awarding it the State’s Outstanding Plan Award for that year! Below you will find links to the Master Plan and various other documents that may help you in developing your own plans for the future of your community or business.
